Ida Mae Parker Lupo, 94 passed away Thursday November 6, 2014 at Golden Living Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Baltimore Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday November 7, 2014 from 6:00-8:30 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was born February 7, 1920 in Robeson County, NC to the late Hardy Parker and Delia Nance Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Clyde Lupo, Jr., a son, Carlyle Lupo, and her brothers and sisters, Jack, Hubert, William, Mildred, and Arrie. She was a long time member of Baltimore Baptist Church. She enjoyed participating in the choir, helping with Bible School, the Golden Group, Homebound Group, and her Sunday School class. Survivors of this marriage include a daughter, Sue Carol Lupo Holt of Galax, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, Rayford and Alice Lupo of Fairmont, NC, and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Lupo of Lumberton, NC; grandchildren and spouses, Allen Holt and Ramona of Indian Valley, VA, Charles Andrew Holt of Galax, VA, Susan Hill and Nicky of Wilmington, NC; Heather Driggers and Regan of Lumberton, NC; Chris Lupo and Kim of Greenville, NC, Martin Lupo of Wilmington, NC, Tim Lupo and Kerry, of Cary, NC, Ivy Lupo Gasser and Bobby of Wilmington, NC; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baltimore Baptist Church Building Fund, 171 Baltimore Church Rd. Fairmont, NC 28340.
