Mr. Ian McKenzie Bass, age 23, of Fairmont died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Bass Family Cemetery on Matties Farm Rd. off Hwy. 904.

Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2012 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Born January 17, 1989 in Robeson County.

Survived by his parents, William Donald Bass and Lana Ervin Bass, both of the home; one son, Brantley Aaron Huggins of McDonald; two brothers, Arlen Bass of Ft. Hood TX and William Cameron Bass and wife, Amanda Herring Bass, both of New Cumberland, PA; fiancée Katie Huggins of McDonald; paternal grandmother, Marie Walters of Fairmont; maternal grandmother, Nancy Ervin of Fairmont, one niece, Sydney Bass of New Cumberland, PA; one nephew, William Bass of New Cumberland, PA; four aunts, seven uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
