Mr. Huey Hunt, Sr. age 79, of Rowland, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at McLeod of Dillon, SC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2:30pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Revs. James Earl Hunt and Nick McNeill officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Burial will follow in the Hunt Family Cemetery, Gerald Rd. Mr. Hunt was born June 30, 1935 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dunk and Cuzzie Hunt; a son, Huey Hunt, Jr; a daughter, Gail Hunt, and a brother, James "Snuboy" Hunt. He is survived by one son, Alton Ray Hunt and fiancé Teresa of Mebane, NC; two daughters, Sheila Hunt Waller and husband Chris of Ruffin, NC, and Rosa Hunt Locklear and husband H.G. of Fairmont; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
