Howard Steven Kahn, 56 of Lumberton, NC shuffled off his mortal coil on November 26, 2015.   Steven was born in Lumberton on November 8, 1959 to Al and Linda Kahn. Although raised in the Jewish faith, as an adult he was baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Growing up he enjoyed working in his Dad's radio station as DJ and Staff Announcer.

He continued to work in radio while in college and after in Nuremberg, Germany for American Forces Network- Europe.

He graduated from UNC- CH with degrees in Biology and English. He was proud to be a 3rd degree Mason.

He is survived by his wife and lifelong best friend, Caroline Kahn; his parents Al and Linda Kahn; his brother Jeffrey, his niece Samantha Kahn and her two children Emily and Jake; and his father-in-law, Robert Holloway, all of Lumberton, NC.

Steven is survived also by two daughters Elizabeth Leach and Laura Leach, both of California; a sister-in-law Shannon Rosenberg of California, and her mother Martha Kaul of Las Vegas, Nevada.

A celebration of Life service will be held Sunday November 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. in Lumberton, NC. Please dress casually- Steven would have insisted. The family will receive friends at his home 3002 N. Floyd Ave. Lumberton, NC after the service.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
