Howard Earl Hinds, age 74, of Bladenboro, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Angel House, in Whiteville. He was born April 17, 1950 in Robeson County to the late Marvin Thomas Hinds, Sr. and the late Grace Bullock Hinds. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Marvin Thomas "Tommy" Hinds.

Howard was an Industrial Electrician and 42-year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and riding his Harley.

Howard is survived by his wife of 51 ½ years, Diana Thompson Hinds; daughter, Tracy Hinds Buechler and husband Cory of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren, Ayden Ross Buechler and Abigail Paige Buechler; and several nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton.
