Howard Neil Brown, 83, passed away at McLeod Medical Center on November 8, 2023. He was born August 3, 1940 in Rowland, Robeson County to the late Neil Edward Brown and Ruby Ivey Brown.

He was preceded in death by parents, Neil Edward Brown and Ruby Ivey Brown; and his brother, Eddie Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Trish, of the home; his daughter, Dina Brown, of Little Rock, SC; his sons, Michael Brown and his wife, Lynn, of Asheville, NC, Terry Brown and his wife,  Anna, of Charlotte, NC, Chris Brown and his wife, Billie Jean, of Charlotte, NC, Kevin Leggett and his long term companion, Amy Pittman, of Hope Mills, NC, and James Leggett and his wife, Marie, of Fairmont, NC; his brothers, Jimmy Brown and his wife, Carol, of Rowland, NC, and Douglas Brown and his wife, Theresa of Dillon, SC;  his sisters, Yvonne Rowell of Lumberton, and Dorris Daniels of New Port Richey, FL; and a whole host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He loved to spend his spare time fishing, and being with family or friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Floyd Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Pastor Tony Ward will be officiating.
