Mr. Horace Mitchell "Tommy" Stone, age 66, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Robeson County on January 2, 1947 to the late Carlie Joel Stone and the late Girlene Lamb Stone. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Stone, his sister, Bonnie Phillips, and a nephew, Russell Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stone, of the home; his son, Tommy Lynn Stone and wife, Lisa, of Wilmington; a special niece, Brenda Ohmer; two nephews, Robert Phillips and Randy Phillips; and two grandchildren, Tommy Lynn Stone, Jr. and Toby Lynn Stone.
