Mr. Horace Miller, age 68, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00PM at Baltimore Baptist Church with Revs. Tim Tyner and Jerry Lowery officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. A Visitation will be held Friday March 20, 2015 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Mr. Miller was born March 14, 1947 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his parents Percy Miller and Vister Parker Miller; four brothers, Bill Miller, James Miller, Forest Miller, and Marvin Miller; and one sister, Vernon Laura Strickland. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Lindsey Miller of the home; two sons, Anthony Miller of the home and Michael Miller and wife Michelle of Lumberton; four daughters, Carolyn Miller of Fairmont, and Amy Miller, Heather Coler and husband Shawn, and Janie Miller, all of Lumberton; two brothers, Joe Miller and wife Brenda of Red Springs, and T.J. Miller-Snipes and wife MJ of Fair Bluff; one sister, Nancy Miller-Marvin Larrimore of Chadbourn; sister-in-law Patricia Miller of Fairmont; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
