Mr. Horace Howard Allen, age 87, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home in Fairmont, NC. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:00AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Ed Wilcox and Robert Nolly officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. A Visitation will be Tuesday evening February 24, 2015 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Mr. Allen was born January 15, 1928 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Floyd Allen. He is survived by two sons, Johnie F. Allen and wife Diane of Fairmont, and Howard Allen and wife Melissa of Liberty, NC; two daughters, Shirley Hill of Smithfield, NC and Joy Floyd and husband Foy of Fairmont; two sisters, Winsome Smith of Gold Hill, NC and Esther Rhodes of Burlington, NC; special caregivers/his Susie's, Tasha Robinson, Lucy Hill, Wendy Davis, Tina Thompson, and Rhonda Robinson; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
