Hilda Overstreet Bundy, age 75, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 4, 1940 to the late Albert and Myrtle Brewer Overstreet. She previously was employed as a textile worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorius Bundy. Mrs. Bundy is survived by her sons, Walter Bundy (Donna) of Orrum, and Dennis Bundy (Linda) of Lumberton; a daughter, Janice Gardner (Earl) of Parkton; sisters, Hazel Phillips, and Mamie Grant both of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Full Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. George Connor and Bishop Bruce Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
