Herbert Theodore \\"Hub\\" Walton, age 73, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, June 7, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Robeson County, NC on October 31, 1936 to Edgar and Alma Britt Walton. He previously worked as a forklift operator for Burlington Mills.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar & Alma Walton; his wife, Margaret Baxley Walton: and a sister Lula Mae Lawson.

Mr. Walton is survived by a son, Hardy Walton and wife Tammy; a sister, Patsy Brisson and husband Lonnie; a brother, Gene Walton and wife Dell; a Brother-in-law, Frank Lawson; grandchildren, Meagann Camacho, Chris Walton and wife Paige, Courtney Brixey and husband Lawrence, Chris Porter and wife Mandy, Brandon Tyner, Austin Walton and wife Amber and Bobby Walton; and great-grandchildren, Garret, Trent, Taylor, Kholdan, Kaitlyn, Kadance and Layla; and a host of nieces a, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will be Friday morning, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening, June 10, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the funeral service at the church.
