Herbert Fred Bissell, 67, of 118 Fred Road, Orrum, NC died at Southeastern Hospice House on April 6, 2009. Mr. Bissell was born on May 3, 1941 in Robeson County, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bessie Bissell and a brother, Donald Bissell.

He is survived by his wife of many years, Linda Bissell; one son, Herbert Fredrick Bissell and wife Angie of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Cheryl Bissell Smith and husband Robbie of Fairmont, NC and Tammy McGraw and husband James of Newton Grove, NC; three sisters, Agnes B. Rankin of Charlotte, NC, Frederia B. Stephens of Lumberton, NC and Glenda B. Mauney of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening, April 8, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc in Lumberton, NC.

Memorial services will be held Thursday morning April 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hog Swamp Baptist Church with the Reverends Vernon Williamson and Larry Davis officiating.
