Henry Thomas (Tom) Roberts passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at his home in St. Pauls, NC at the age of 89.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dockery and Mary Stanley Roberts; his first wife and mother of his three sons, Margaret Horne Roberts and his second wife, Jennie Girlene Roberts.

He is survived by his three sons, Mike Roberts, Steve Roberts (Alecia) and Carey Roberts, all of St. Pauls; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Roberts served his country in the United States Army from December 12, 1957 until September 16, 1959 and was asked to serve again from October 26, 1961 to August 7, 1962.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 1:00-3:00PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00PM with Rev. David McClellan officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
