Mr. Henry Eugene Rhodes, age 66, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born in Robeson County on November 28, 1949. He will be remembered for all his years of employment with Floyd Mortuary & Crematory and Floyd Funeral Services.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Presley and Alvira Britt Rhodes, and a grandson, Anthony Branch, Jr.

He is survived by one son, Shawn Rhodes and wife Deanna of Wilmington; two daughters: Melissa Branch and husband Anthony and Michelle Rhodes and fiancé Ron, all of Lumberton; four sisters: Eunita Davis of Fairmont, Dorothy Bass of Lumberton, Maudell Anderson of Wilmington, and Peggy Jenkins of Fairmont; 5 grandchildren: Justin Branch, Zachary Rhodes, Hunter Branch, Julianna Powell, and Hannah Rhodes; and a special friend, Loretta Hunt of Rowland.

A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ricky Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.
