Mr. Henry Cecil Butler, age 75, of Rowland, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Burial will follow in the Hammonds Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, January, 21, 2016 from Noon until 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Jones Butler and Robert Butler Sr.; two sisters, Hester (Mandy) Oxendine and Annie Ruth Bryant; and five brothers, Danny, Dock, Johnnie, Boney, and Jimmy.

He is survived by his wife Judy Butler of the home; his children, Cecil Allen Butler (Eliane), Billy Butler (Laura), William Hunt of the home, Larry Hunt of TX, Kathy Edminston of Lumberton, Starla Kaye Butler of Lumberton; one foster daughter, Onita Oxendine of Fairmont, one adopted brother, James (Cracker) Hunt; seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a great host of nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
