Mrs. Helena Hagopian Herring, age 96, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  She was born in Boston, MA on July 16, 1919 to the late Malcolm Hagopian and the late  Miriam Nanigian Hagopian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dewey Herring.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her son, Charles Herring (Wanda) of Fayetteville; her daughter, Susan Herring, of the home; two grandchildren, Andrew Herring (Victoria) of Orrum and Joseph Herring (Jenny) of Hope Mills and two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Herring and Avery Herring.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 1:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Harlon Triplett officiating.  Burial will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:30AM at Snow Hill City Cemetery in Snow Hill, NC.
