Helen Hedgepeth Leggette, age 90, of Greenville, NC died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 9, 1919 to the late Alexander and Beulah Branch Hedgepeth. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Venson Ferrell Leggette. Mrs. Leggette is survived by one son, Charles Ferrell Leggette of Sanford, NC and one daughter, Beverly Buck of Greenville, NC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. LeRoy Burke officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
