Helen Page Leggett, age 87, of Fairmont, NC died on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 20, 1925 to the late Matthew Cecil Page and the late Christine Edwards Page. She was previously employed in textile manufacturing as a folder.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Leggett and a son, C. Mack Leggett.

Mrs. Leggett is survived by a son, Larry R. Leggett of Rockingham; a daughter, Elaine Leggett Pate of Lumberton; a sister, Miriam Page Ivey of Orrum; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Tim Skipper officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Leggett Cemetery in Fairmont.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont.
