Mrs. Helen Hunt Lamb, age 74, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. She was born in Robeson County on February 11, 1941 to the late Albert and Florence Hunt.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Sanderson.

Helen is survived by her husband, James Hubert Lamb of the home; four sons: Clayton Hunt of Long Island, NY, Glenn Hunt and wife Dierdre of Long Island, NY, Paul Hunt and wife Kathleen of Long Island, NY, and James H. Lamb II and wife Donna of Lumberton; two daughters: Judy Cincotta and husband Angelo of Long Island, NY and Charlene Pate and husband Morris of Pikeville, NC; four brothers; six sisters; eleven grandchildren: Tara Hunt, Court Hunt, Kelly Hunt, Jessica Hunt, Salvatore Cincotta, Julia Cincotta, Emily Pate, Ryan Hunt, Kassidy Hunt, Macelyn Lamb, and Loren Lamb; and three great-grandchildren: A.J. Williams, Jamal Williams, and Maya Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 3:00 PM at North Lumberton Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Admire and Rev. Dave Walker officiating.
