Mrs. Helen Leona Johnson, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 16, 1945 to the late Jesse & Ruby E. Kizar.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Bradley Moore; her brother, Bruce Kizar; her sister, Elizabeth English; and her half-brothers, Gene Johnson and Joe Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Johnson of the home; her son, Nick Moore of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, John Bradley and Karleigh; her brother, Lonnie Kizar and wife Libby of Lumberton, NC; her sister, Ruthie Kizar of Orlando, FL; and her sister-in-law, Rusty Kizar of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
