Helen Barnes Collins, 80, of Orrum was born September 10, 1935 and departed this life to be with the Lord on February 6, 2016.  She was the daughter of Curtis and Eva Barnes.  The funeral will be on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Broad Ridge Baptist Church in Orrum with Rev. James Graham, Rev. Jim Seaman, and Rev. Johnnie Hursey officiating.  A time for visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00-7:00 PM prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Avender; a son, Danny; and a daughter Donna.

She leaves behind two sons, Ronald Collins (Dianne) and Kenny Collins (Terri); a daughter, Linda Britt (Kenny); and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Collins all of Lumberton; six grandchildren, Ken Collins (Stephanie), Ray Collins (Kim), Danielle Bordeaux (Archie), Amber Ferrell (Jason), Sable Branch (Cody), and Maranda Page (Frank); five great-grandchildren, Kaileigh, Jaden, Lily, Danny, and Danica.  She also leaves behind two brothers, Curtis and Roger Barnes, and three sisters, Frances Bostic, Shirley Miller, and Margie Pridgen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
