Hattie Lucille Rowland, 86, of Pine Log Road in Lumberton, NC made her journey to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with her family gathered around.

The funeral will be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Glenn Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

Mrs. Rowland was born on March 16, 1925. She was a devoted wife, mother, friend and ??Granny? who loved the Lord, her family, pets and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Whitford and Bessie Anderson and seventeen siblings.

Mrs. Rowland leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Carolyn McCartney and husband Terry, Connie Wilcox, Jewell Lennon and husband Joe of Bladenboro and Marilyn Phillips and husband Roy and seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
