Harriet "Leigh" Britt, age 45, died on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 5, 1971 to Dennis Britt and Jessica Floyd Britt.  She worked as a store manager for Sun Do 72.

Ms. Britt is survived by her parents, Dennis and Jessica Floyd Britt; her partner, Jennifer Walters; a son Austin Walters of the home; a sister, Denise Britt of Lumberton; and a paternal grandfather, Hobert Britt of Lumberton.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael Longson officiating.  The burial will follow at the Britt Family Cemetery.
