Mr. Harrell Cummings, age 76, of Fairmont, NC passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

He was born to the late William Julius Cummings and Eva Mae Cummings on July 18, 1945 in Pembroke, NC.

Harrell was an Army veteran and custodian for the Public Schools of Robeson County. He retired from the Public Schools of Robeson County in 2002 after 30 years of service.

Harrell and Sarah Lewis were married in 1967 in Fairmont, NC. Together they raised two children, William Cummings and Gordon Cummings.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lynn Cummings and a daughter, Lolita Rose Cummings; 17 brothers and sisters.

Harrell is survived by his wife Sarah Cummings of the home; two sons, William Cummings of Clayton, NC, Gordon Cummings and his wife Carolyn of Rowland, NC; a brother, Carl Cummings and wife Lela of McDonald, NC; granddaughters, Taylor Cummings, Sarah Cummings, and Raziah Cummings; and a host of friends.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 30, 2021 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Revs. Charles Cummings and Howard Jacobs officiating.

Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
