Mr. Harold Richard Burney, 49, of Hobart, Indiana, formally of Proctorville, NC passed away peacefully at St. Mary hospital in Hobart, Indiana on Thursday April 15th 2021.

Richard was a father to two boys he loved dearly. Richard  moved to Indiana in 2018. Richard passion was to turn families dull homes into a beautiful master piece. During Richards time in Indiana he came across great friends whom he enjoyed to spend time with. He was a man who loved and cared about any person he came across. His friends states " He was one of a kind".

He was the son to late Pete & Donna Burney.

To cherish his memory he leaves, his wife, Drena Burney, mother of his two sons; Kirklin & Kolton Burney; Brothers, Joe Craig Burney, Lee Hunt Jr, Terry Sanders; Sister, Dana Burney; Nieces, Summer Bailey (Zach), Desiree Crag (Zack); Nephews, Seth Britt, Dawson Hunt; Grandmother, Sarah Farthing (Roy). Along with other Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

The final rites will be held on Saturday May 15, 2021 at Floyd's Funeral Home in Fairmont, NC from 6:00-8:00pm. Where family will receive friends and relatives.
