Mr. Harold Layne Badgett, age 74, of Fairmont passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at his home 802 Park Avenue. The funeral service will be held Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Badgett; a twin brother Gerald Wayne Badgett; his parents Odell and Thelma Badgett; a son, Brent Badgett and three grandchildren, Andy, Tracey, and Amanda. He is survived by a son, Randall Layne (Penny) of Fairmont; and three grandchildren, Aaron, Cameron and Nina Badgett; many friends and loved ones. Harold, many referred to as "Fat Harold" was the manager of the Etna Service Station for 33 years along with his wife "Mrs. Pat". He was a sports fanatic and coached Little League for a number of years. He had a contagious laugh and a unique personality. He will be missed by all.
