Gwendolyn Mae Dixon Brown, age 75, of Bladenboro, NC died at her home on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was born on December 31, 1941 to the late Maxie and Lillian Henry Dixon. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Lee Parker; a brother, Danny Baker; a sister, Patricia Bodiford; and a grandson, John Blake Parker.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Harry Lee Brown of the home; sons: Kenneth Parker of Charleston, SC, and Gary Parker, Ronald Parker, and Johnny Parker, all of Bladenboro; brothers: Wooly Baker, Wayne Baker, and Ronnie Baker, all of Lumberton; sisters: Rachel Baker, Rosie Powers, and Marilyn Smith, all of Lumberton, and Cynthia Devane of Bladenboro; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. O'Neill Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
