Grover B. Sealey, age 93, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday March 28, 2021, at his home.

He was born December 11, 1927, in Robeson County to the late David Foster and Maude Herring Sealey.

He was a member of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Jenkins Sealey; four brothers, Herman Sealey, Robert Sealey, Ray Sealey, and Ed Sealey; three sisters, Pearleen Skipper, Voncille McLamb, and Lula Bell Brumbles; a granddaughter, Christina Solsky; step-grandson, Shane Stone; and a great-granddaughter, Hope Parker.

He is survived by five daughters, Sharon Yarbrough (Wayne) of Ruffin, NC, Diane Stone (Robbie), Elaine Parker (Lawrence), Lori Nance (Timmy Smith), all of Fairmont, and Joy Solsky (Tony) of Lumberton; a brother, Clinton Sealey (Nancy) of Lumberton; a sister, Mollie Jean Stallings of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren, Mel Charles (Terri) , Brian Simmons (Karla), Robbie Parker, Erin Payne (Ryan Hester), Brandi Huneycutt (James), Leann Gibson, Kimberly Simmons, two step-grandchildren, Josh Stone (Lana), and Randy Yarbrough (Lynette); and 17 great-grandchildren, Ivey Cox, Ethan Parker, Logan Boeshore (Ceirra), Landon Boeshore, Laci Grey Huneycutt, Ella Kate Huneycutt, Luke Gibson, Jakob Gibson, Harley Navarro, Gauge Payne, Wyatt Hester, Brayden Ballard, Bryson Ballard, Elijah Simmons, six step=grandchildren, Gabriella Stone, Trey Yarbrough (Kelsey), Courtney Yarbrough, Desiree Andrews, Paige Reeves and Madison Batten; four step-great great grandchildren, Maddi Andrews, Bradley Rabon, Brinkleigh Batten, and Hudson Reeves.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont, the Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating.
