Gracie Gore Younce, age 84, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Shallotte, NC on February 5, 1932. She was a former employee at the Robesonian as a typist.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Watts; and her husband David Gilson Younce, Jr.

She is survived by one son, David Gilson Younce, III (Sherry Lynn) of Lumberton; one daughter, Gracie Younce Fergerson "Sherry" of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Christa Younce Earls, David G. Younce, IV, Amber Lee Davis, and Ashley Rae Haggerty; eight great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Ruth Butler.

A graveside service will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery; visitation will be following the service at the cemetery.
