Mrs. Grace Townsend Warwick, age 84, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on September 10, 1930 to the late Joseph Townsend and the late Lula Mae Covington Townsend. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carl Warwick, and two grandchildren: Timothy Warwick and Harold Christopher Britt. She is survived by four sons: Billy Warwick and wife, Belinda, of Lumberton, Alvin T. "Tommy" Warwick of Lumberton, Joseph A. "Joe" Warwick and wife, Trish, of Hampstead, and R.C. Warwick, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Rockingham; one daughter: Helen Warwick of Lumberton; one brother: Harold Townsend of Lumberton; one sister: Judith Bass of Lumberton; fourteen grandchildren: Heather, Madison, Michelle, Brandon, Julie, Lisa, Jamie, Tommy, Jr., Brent, Joey, Catherine, Jarrod, Brianna, and Jeremy; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rich Foreman and Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
