Grace Britt Parker, age 88, of Lumberton, NC, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Wesley Pines Retirement Center. She was born July 2, 1932 in Robeson County, NC to the late Weldon and Mattie Britt. She was a longtime member of Long Branch Baptist Church and worked as a supervisor in textiles for most of her working career. In her later years she worked at Ted Parker Home Sales in Lumberton, NC and Laurel Hill, NC as an Administrative Assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, doll making, and painting.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Bud Parker; two sons, Wayne and Keith Parker; and a grandson, Justin Parker.

She is survived by three sons, Ted Parker and wife Vickie, Tim Parker and wife Denise, and Jeff Parker and fiancée Dee Barcome; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Parker; two sisters, Estalene Britt Hedgpeth and Jean Britt; and 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She loved nothing more than having all of her family over for Sunday dinners and being surrounded by her beloved grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Wesley Pines and the nurses and aids who were so kind to her during illness.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Brett Young officiating.
