Gloria Jean Phillips Tyner, 79, of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Virginia Phillips; two brothers, Thomas Phillips and Jackie Phillips and a sister, Faye Brown.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, James Kenneth; a son, Kenny Tyner (Joy) of Lumberton; a daughter, Tammy Breeden (Patrick) of Lumberton; two sisters, Peggy Britt (Barry) and Dale Johnson (Danny), all of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Kenny Tyner, Jr., Matthew Tyner, and Savannah McBride; a great-grandchild, Owen McBride; and a host of close friends from East Lumberton Baptist Church.

The visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with the Rev. Michael Bowen officiating.  Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
