Mrs. Gloria Boyd Oxendine, age 78, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.  She was born on September 26, 1942 to the late Langston Boyd and the late Ada Boyd.

She was happily married to her husband, Bobby, for 49 years. Together they shared a memorable and loving life. She loved her dog, "Bear", and really enjoyed sitting on her back porch looking at the lake. Her favorite place to be was at the beach.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by a son, Frank Dwyer of Marbury, AL; two daughters, Marie Dwyer of Euless, TX and Anita Oxendine of Huntersville, NC; and a grandson, Jon Dwyer.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Ben Cline and Rev. Danny Lanier officiating.
