Gloria Ann Batts Hayes, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Richmond Pines Nursing Facility in Hamlet. She was born on October 4, 1940 in Wallace, NC to the late William & Annie Batts.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Allen Hayes, and two brothers: Dwight Batts and Joe Batts.

She is survived by two daughters: Lori Webb (David) of Ft. Mill, SC and LeAnne Hayes of Lumberton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandra Townsend (Thomas) of Wallace.

A  memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Hedgepeth officiating. Following  the  service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home.
