Gloria Royal Glezen, 62 of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born on December 9, 1946 in Greenwood, SC to Louis Bartow Royal, Jr. and Celeste Rose Sears Royal. She was self-employed in Human Services, Rest Home owner and Administrator.

Mrs. Glezen is survived by one son, Sean Brittany Ward and wife, Vanessa of Lumberton, NC; three daughters, Saundra Celeste Glezen of Melbourne, FL, Shelly Glezen (Johnston) of Raleigh, NC and Angela Kelly Glezen (Rodgers) of Manheim, PA; one brother, Andy Louis Royal of Lumberton, NC; two grandsons, Andrew Paul Ward of Lumberton, NC and Mason Alan Rodgers of Manheim, PA; and two granddaughters, Brittany Alexis Ward of Lumberton, NC and Sophie Nicole Johnston of Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Roy Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
