Glenn Alva Gore, 55, of 1608 Duckworth Avenue, died Friday, October 31,
2008 at Golden Living Nursing Home. He was born in Robeson County on April
15, 1953.
He is survived by his wife, Misty A. Gore of Charlotte, NC; two sons, John
Israel Gore and Glenn Gabriel Gore both of Charlotte, NC; four daughters, Anne
Davis, Esther Joy Gore, Hannah Grace Gore and Julia Singer Gore all of Charlotte,
NC; his parents, Hubert L. Gore and Esther H. Gore of Lumberton, NC; two
brothers, Larry Gore of Lumberton and Gearl Gore of Jupiter Beach, FL; one
sister, Leisa G. Dowless of Dublin, NC; and one grandchild, Nicholas Davis.
The funeral service will be Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at First
Baptist Church with Rev. David Elks, Dr. Russell T. Cherry and Rev. Joe Bounds
officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. at
Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
