Ms. Glenda Bissell Mauney, age 75, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County on March 1, 1944 to the late Fred Bissell and the late Bessie Barnes Bissell.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Bissell and Herbert Bissell, and a sister, Agnes Rankin.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Wesley Mauney of Greensboro, NC and David Keith Mauney and wife Paula of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Glenda Renee Quintero of Lumberton, NC; three grandchildren: Quinten Keith Mauney, Travis Keaton Mauney, and Steven Ryan Quintero; and a sister, Frederia Bissell Stephens of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tony Ward and Rev. George Connor officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
