Mrs. Glenda Phyllis Prevatte Hardin, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, February 19. 2021, at UNC Health - Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 2, 1942 to the late Ernest and Monnie Prevatte. She was a bus driver for the Public Schools of Robeson County until retirement.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: David Prevatte, Truitt Prevatte, Alton Prevatte, Bill Prevatte, and Wilbur Prevatte; and two sisters, Martha Prevatte and Mildred Prevatte.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen F. Hardin, Sr. of the home; her children: Gail Dudney (Eddie), Stephen F. Hardin, Jr. (Becky), Jenny L. Hardin, Anthony Hardin (Dawn), and Waylon Hardin (Kimberly), all of Lumberton, NC; eight grandchildren: Melissa Hall (Wade), Amanda Baxley (Keith), Rebecca Kordes (Jon), Brooke Clabaugh (Micah), Kayleigh Hardin, A.J. Hardin, Sarah Hardin, and Sadie Hardin; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, James "Candy" Prevatte (Peggy) of Raleigh, NC; a special niece, Brenda Prevatte Jernigan of Lumberton, NC; and a special nephew, Carlton Prevatte of Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev. Aaron Corcelius and Rev. Brent Chavis officiating.
