Ms. Glenda Ivey Allen, 75, of Hamlet, NC, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 20, 1947 to the late Willis Pope Ivey and the late Elneta Guyton Ivey.

She worked for 30 years at Alamac Knit Company. After retirement, she moved into Richmond Pines Nursing Facility in Hamlet, NC where she enjoyed playing Bingo, working crossword puzzles, and visiting with other residents.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Pittman and husband James of Lumberton, NC; her longtime companion, Wayne Hardin; and her grandchildren, Troy Pittman, Jesse Pittman, and Daniel Brewer.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Singletary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Pastor Josh West officiating.
