Mrs. Gladys Carol Taylor Harden, age 88, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at Lumberton Assisted Living. She was born in Onslow County on March 31, 1926 to the late Charlie Taylor and the late Dolly Ann Heath Taylor. She was the owner and operator of Carol's Creations. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Juneious Harden, and three brothers: Melvin Taylor, Rufus Taylor, and Cecil Taylor. She is survived by one son, Darwin Edward Sanders, Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two daughters: Marilyn LaVonne Sanders Warren of Fuquay Varina and Donna Carol Sanders Taylor of Lumberton; two sisters: Mary Lilly Beaulieu of Phoenix, AZ and Martha Ann Jarrett of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A time of visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
