Mrs. Girlene J. Jacobs, age 77, of 14668 NC Hwy. 130 East Fairmont, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Fair Point Church, Revs. Larry Oxendine and Ricky Burnett officiating. Burial will be in Fair Point Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

She is survived by three sons, William Maiden of Fayetteville, Kenny Maiden of Albermare, and Glennwood Jacobs of Fairmont; five daughters, Lucy Haire of Cape Coral, Fla., Linda Gibbs of Fayetteville, Judy Cummings and Darlene Bailey both of Fairmont and Geraldine Maiden of Hope Mills; seven sisters, Ellen Locklear, Mary Wilson, Stella Jackson, Mairlyn Hunt, Maggie Locklear, Maitland Hicks and Martha Hunt; ten brothers, Marty Swett, Wilmer Swett, Willie Swett, Lathan Swett, Bobby Swett, William Swett and Percell Swett, Billy Hunt, Welton Hunt and Sanford Hunt; 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
