Ms. Gina Pittman Melvin, age 59, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born in Robeson County on August 25, 1956 to the late Carson and Dorothy Pittman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Melvin. She is survived by two sons: Josh Windom and fiancée Heather Hackney and Jordan Windom and wife Jessica, all of Lumberton; three grandchildren: Cameron Windom, Joslyn Windom, and Jade Windom; one brother, Carson Pittman and wife Betty of State Road, NC; one sister, Trina Pittman of Lumberton; two nieces: Meredith Pittman of Durham, NC and Terri Finch of Holly Springs, NC; a special friend, Jesse Davis of Hope Mills, NC; and her beloved dog, Sophie. A time of visitation will take place on Monday, September 14, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Raft Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. C.J. Bordeaux officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
