Gina Simpson Brothers, age 60, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She was born in Craven County, NC on October 27, 1960 and she was formerly employed with City Financial in the Customer Service Dept.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Simpson.

She is survived by her mother, Judy Simpson of Goose Creek, NC; her husband, James Brothers of Myrtle Beach, SC; her mother-in-law, Wanda Atkinson of New Bern, NC; three daughters: Rebekah Locklear (Aaron) and Rachel Strickland (Andrew), both of Lumberton, NC, and Reba Baxley (Paul) of Bladenboro, NC; ten grandchildren: Makayla, Aaron, Jeffrey, Chloe, Gabriel, Cameron, Ryleigh, Landon, Adalyn, and Sophia; and a sister, Wanda Nipper (Ricky) of Goose Creek, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
