Mr. Gilbert M. Berry, age 87, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Greenbrier Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 3pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday June 20, 2018 one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 2-3pm.

Mr. Berry was born May 13, 1930 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady C. Berry and Bessie McKellar Berry; brothers, Thomas, Boyd, Duncan and Robert Berry; a sister, Minnie Lee West.

He is survived by three sisters, Emily Berry of the home, Patricia Berry Byrd of Fairmont and Doris Parker of Lumberton; one brother, Thad Berry of Trenton, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
