Geraline Harrelson passed in peace in the home on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the age of 66. She was born in Robeson County, NC and lived the majority of her life in Fairmont, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Easley Harrelson, and her sister, Janice H. Garris.

She is survived by her siblings, Jessie Henry Harrelson, Jr. (Dorothy), Earl Harrelson (Sylvia), Gertrude Ella Odum, Jean Leslie Harrelson, and Terry Wayne Harrelson.

Geraline was adored by her many nieces and nephews who include: Kathy Garris Schwarting, Carl Johnson Garris II, Joy Garris Adkins, Jennifer Ann Black, John Howard Odum, Jaime Harrelson Bowen, and Casey Harrelson Everhart. Her great-nieces and -nephews include: Tav Schwarting, Garris Schwarting, Cade Garris, Luke Garris, Logan Garris, Durham Adkins, Bryce Adkins, Jessica Dowless, Kinza Dowless, Hannah Cross, Nicholas Odum, Lilly Aria Bowen, Abigail Bowen, Brantley Everhart, and Brynleigh Everhart. Her great-great-niece and -nephew are Trae Shuler and Eleanor Richardson.

Geraline loved reading western romance novels and spending time with her sisters.  She was cherished and loved by her many nieces and nephews who dubbed her as the coolest aunt ever. She will always be loved, cherished, and missed by her family and friends.

A small graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 3:00pm at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
