Mrs. Geraldine Walters Ivey age 65, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ms. Ivey was born July 19, 1950 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Walters and Bertha Hayes Walters.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy R. Ivey, of the home; one son, Scott Ivey (Tara) of Fairmont; one daughter, Kim Mitchell (Chris) also of Fairmont; five brothers, Guthrie Walters of Lumberton, Lacy Walters of Charlotte, Paul Walters of Dillon, Ronald Walters of Gastonia, and Rogers Walters of Charlotte; three sisters, Sara Lee Bass of Fairmont, Betty Rose Kirby of Mullins, and Margaret Richardson of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Nicholas Mitchell, Brooke Smith , and Brayden Ivey.
