Geraldine Fowler Floyd Davis, Jerry to her family and friends, passed away Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born on March 18, 1934, in Fairmont, North Carolina. Jerry was preceded in death by her parents Betty and Vann Floyd; her brother Justin Floyd; her sister Jennie Lee Harris and her great-grandson Baron Rhoades.

After receiving her Associates Degree, Jerry moved to Washington DC where she worked as an executive assistant. That is where she met Charlies Davis (Charlie). They married in 1956 and had three children. After living in DC and California, Jerry and Charlie finally settled in Vero Beach, Florida. That is where she found her calling; she loved caring for people. She volunteered for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline and over 20 years as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected kids; and she also cared for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry survived by her daughter Laura Eveleigh (Bill); her son Brad Davis; daughter Mary Carter (Paul); granddaughters Christal Rhoades (Mark), Anna Eveleigh and Jennifer Miller (Matt), and great-grandchildren Lance Carter, Kendra Carter, Leland Rhoades, Ryleigh Miller, and Madison Miller.

A celebration of life will occur later in Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline or your local Court Appointed Special Advocate program (CASA).
