George Junior Locklear, 58, of 400 North Martin Luther King Drive, died Thursday,
May 29, 2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Trussie
and Dessie Freeman Locklear on January 12, 1950 in Robeson County.
He was also preceded in death by his 3 brothers.
He is survived by 1 brother, Truman Locklear of Lumberton; and 3 sisters, Emma
Locklear of Lumberton, Minnie Pearl Hunt of Lumberton and Recie Lewis of Fairmont.
The funeral service will be Sunday, June 1, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Church in
Maxton, NC with Rev. Tracy Locklear, Rev. David Hunt and Rev. Jack Murray
officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
