Gaynelle Sealey Allen, age 88, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Walter Allen.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM, Monday, November 1, 2010 at Godwin Heights Baptist Church, Lumberton, where she was a charter member since 1953. Dr. Lynn Bullock and Reverend David Halloway will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, October 31, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.

Surviving are four children, Ron Allen (Barbara) of North, SC, Kay Hilburn (Stan) of Angier, NC, Pam Allen of Lafayette, CO, Teri Clark (Fenner) of Nashville, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Parkins of Salt Lake City, UT and Linda Gonzalez of Dunnellon, FL; six grandchildren, Eric, Matthew and Sarah Allen, Jamie Everette, Corey and Bill Clark; one great-grandchild, Cole Allen.

Arrangements are by Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Godwin Heights Baptist Church of Lumberton, 704 Godwin Avenue, Lumberton, NC 28358.
