Mr. Gary Hunt, age 61, of Fairmont, NC passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

He was born June 19, 1963 in Robeson County, NC to the late Percell Hunt and Lois Mitchell Emanuel.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Dana Hunt of the home; one son, Rufus Scott of the home; two sisters, Wanda Lambert and husband Victor of Fairmont, NC and Cynthia Smith and husband Bucky of Fairmont, NC; three grandchildren, Dakota Scott, Hayley Scott, and Hayden Scott; special niece and nephews, Byron Lambert, Devin Smith, Brielle Lambert, and Braxley Lambert; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church at 3:00 PM.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
